TuringBot v0.5 is up!

The new version of TuringBot is up!
I originally created this game in three hours for Trijam, but immediately thought it had potential to become a bit more. I enjoyed the core mechanic a whole lot. Most of what I've done to prepare this version was polish: I added sounds, I improved some of the look of the interface (it remains very minimal), did a lot of refactoring in the code that won't show up. I added menus, options, and a proper campaign screen with a list of levels that will get longer as you win the previous ones (while allowing to replay them). It also keeps track of statistics, what's the best you could do in terms of step and instructions to solve the level - though the current levels are pretty much all constrained in what solutions work. There's also one neat new little level that still wasn't in the original version! The campaign also starts with a few very simple tutorial-like levels meant to teach you the ropes (there's still no actual tutorial, though).
The biggest improvement though comes with the downloadable versions, as they come with a level editor, and the possibility to play your own levels. And, possibly, share them, though right now that's a bit annoying since your system will save the files in a pretty remote folder - see the Godot documentation on User data folders. I'd really like it if someone played around with this. My next step is going to be to create more levels, and seeing what others do would be a great inspiration. I'm also considering the option of adding a random level generation tool, though I'm not sure how interesting those would be in the end.
Play away!
